What began as a routine finish update during a renovation at Slippery Rock University, quickly sparked something much bigger. While working on the Math Lab Classroom, the University recognized an opportunity to refresh its interior palette – aligning the space more closely with campus identity and kicking off a broader branding initiative.
Rather than defaulting to previous color selections, the design team collaborated with the University to reimagine the room through a new lens. The updated design scheme features new carpet, paint, and finish selections that reflect Slippery Rock’s signature colors while creating a more vibrant and unified learning environment.
HDG supported the effort with quick renderings and curated material options, helping the University confidently visualize the transformation – all without disrupting the project timeline. The result? A small space that not only supports student success but sets the tone for future campus projects.
