St. John Vianney Manor in Crafton, a residence for retired priests, is the latest collaboration between HDG Architects and The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. The scope of the $5 million project entails widespread renovation to the living and shared spaces to create more opportunities for socializing, fitness, and increased accessibility for limited mobility residents. The construction included the addition of four new suites with common living spaces, including a fitness and game room; formal dining area, elevator and new building entrance that faces the heart of the Seminary campus. Other improvements include a new heating and air conditioning system, kitchen, and a nurse’s office, as well as new windows, carpeting, and fresh paint for the 31 existing suites.
