HDG Architects, in collaboration with CJL Engineering, were retained by Bombardier Transportation to renovate an existing vacant office space into an Automated Transit Systems Headquarters. The creation of a polished and contemporary interior design better reflects Bombardier’s position as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative mobility solutions. The space now includes sleek column wraps, interior storefront glazing, acoustical clouds, and new lighting to create an architectural aesthetic indicative of the trains and other transportation technologies in which Bombardier specializes. By working with contractors to prepare preliminary cost estimates, HDG was able to provide a cost-efficient design while maintaining a high level of quality and innovation.
