HDG provided architectural services to convert the existing approximately 10,000 SF former ICU on the 5th Floor of Suburban General into an accelerator lab for the AHN/AlphaLab collaboration. One of the main goals of the renovation was to reuse as much of the existing construction as possible. New labs, a work room, shared equipment room, collaboration area for small events, several company rooms, small conference rooms, a meeting room, an instructional area, two offices, and all supporting areas were provided within the new lab space. The project also included upgraded HVAC, lighting, and finishes which integrated AHN’s color palette throughout the new spaces.
